Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP) on the classification, labelling and packaging of chemicals applies to all substances and mixtures placed on the market. Through the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, the CLP labelling also applies to containers and pipelines in the workplace. All chemical suppliers and users of chemicals must:
reclassify their products and adapt their Safety Data Sheets
label hazardous products with new labels, hazard pictograms, hazard & precautionary statements.
Audience
The course is aimed at those responsible for product labelling/workplace labelling. The course leader is Erwin Theelen who has many years of experience with CLP classification in industry and REACH & CLP information. Course outline:
REACH & CLP introduction: roles, obligations & substance lists
new safety data sheets, information sources (interpreting info in ECHA databases) & harmonised classification
calculation methods & concentration limits for CLP classification of mixtures for environmental & health hazards
new requirements for labels (size, information, P-statements)
practice with calculations regarding health & environmental hazards.
Course objectives
The course objectives are to learn how to classify & label mixtures according to CLP/GHS.

- Open course with us: 6,945 SEK per participant, or Online: 4,445 SEK
Terms
- Most courses are 1-day courses, Online courses are divided into 2 half days
- Prices are in SEK excluding VAT, and excluding mileage reimbursement for in-company courses (courses at your place)
- 10% discount for max. 4 people in-company, for multiple courses/days or if multiple people from the same organization are taking the course. The discount only applies to courses according to the brochure
- 40% discount on half-day courses
- The invoice will be sent as a PDF after the course, payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.
- One hour of consulting/implementation support (within 3 months after the course) is included
- Our open courses take place at our premises in Lessebo (walking distance from the station & near the 25-an) and Falun, lunch is included (note: does not apply to online courses)
- If cancelled 31 – 14 days before the start of the course, 25% of the course price will be charged. If cancelled less than 14 days (and if participants do not show up for the start of the course), the full course price will be charged.
- If the course date (course at your place) is changed later than 7 days before the start of the course, 10% of the course fee will be charged.
- Course materials are the property of Tenviro and may not be copied or stored in a search system (published) for a third party.
- Tenviro is not liable for direct or indirect damage in connection with the course/information obtained via Tenviro or its tools, such as due to loss of profit, loss or other consequential damage, including any liability to third parties or loss of information, unless this damage is the result of intent or gross negligence on the part of Tenviro; any liability is then limited to the course fee.
